A General Contractor's blood does not run through his veins - he listens and cares about his clients' needs! This world would be a much better place to live in and deal with General Contractors, if each one had a strong credibility, communicative discipline and polished etiquette. It's hard to pinpoint a specific time when one can call a remodel complete. In some sense as a homeowner you're never done. Project tasks become maintenance tasks and work continues. However, with the final strokes of paint drying today we feel a sense of closure on our remodel journey. A journey that has taking many years of dreaming and planning and months of execution.
With deepest sincerity we want to thank you for being our partner during the past 2 and half years of what has been one of the most transformative times in our lives. You shepherded our project with great care, worked in the background with city planners and numerous others who were critical to our project's success. You were innovative with on-site changes, provided great design recommendations, and saw to every detail (many of which we'll never know). And not least of all you gracefully managed a demanding client - me. Not by delivering on all my desires, but in helping me think through my requests and prioritizing their importance or lack there of. Undoubtedly there were challenges along the way, but we overcame them together with reason and understanding.
I already look back with fondness, some disbelief, and ultimately with amazement at the process and the accomplishment. An accomplishment that couldn't have been achieved without your partnership in leading this project.
So thank you Kendall for everything you did to deliver not only an incredible remodel but also build a home for our family.
